Duncan Bellamy is a multidisciplinary artist based in London. His diverse practice encompasses painting, silkscreen, photography, sound and music. He studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martins and is a founding member of Mercury Prize nominated Portico Quartet. 2022's Terrain (Extended) – Live in Studio One is the clearest distillation of the group's work to date.
Other collaborations include an album of sonic-poetry with author Belinda Zhawi (MA.MOYO) as BZDB titled Jump Ship, Sit Lean, Be Still, Stand Tall released in November 2024 on AD93 Records and sound work with the artist Hannah Collins for her audio-visual installation I Will Make Up A Song And Sing It In A Theatre With The Night Air Above My Head, which explores the work of pioneering Egyptian architect Hassan Fathy.
